Jette Büchsenschütz

Jette Büchsenschütz works as a dramaturg, writer, and cultural worker in the fields of dance, performance, and theatre, based in Berlin and with strong ties to Vienna. With an academic background in Chinese Studies and Dance Studies, her practice moves along the edges of theory and movement, language and body. Her texts have been published amongst others at PW-Magazine, tanzraumberlin magazin, Positionen – Texte zur aktuellen Musik, gallerytalk and tanzschreiber. Alongside her dramaturgical and writing practice, she explores affective states within the cultural field, questions of mental „health“, as well as structural precarity.
