Jefta van Dinther

Jefta van Dinther is a choreographer and dancer working between Stockholm and Berlin. His work is characterized by a rigorous physical approach and always implies a staged research of movement itself. Van Dinther teaches choreography internationally at various centres and educational programs. Since 2008, Van Dinther has created 18 full-length performances, ranging from smaller, intimate formats to large-scale productions for state companies. His works have been presented in classical theatre settings, visual arts spaces, and site-specific locations. He served as a Senior Lecturer and Artistic Director in the MA program in Choreography at Uniarts Stockholm from 2012 to 2014. Since 2024, Van Dinther has been a member of the Advisory Board of HZT, Berlin.
