Shifting Positions, or: As if we Already Went Through the Apocalypse
The artistic practice of Vienna-based artist Hanna Kučera navigates the fine line between play and work, fiction and reality, professionalism and parody. Through her evolving ‘para-play,’ she stages Positions that reflect on the pressures of artistic professionalization, the liberating potential of play, and the paradox of moving forward while feeling stuck.
