An ideal vision of the future, playing in your local kebab shop at 3am: Ink Midget presents a homage to R’n’B and dance music from the 90/2000s.
Imagine it is 2023 and Timbaland is screaming instead of shouting. Maybe you’re getting a little closer to the latest take by Ink Midget, who has been mixing your favorite club tracks for the past few years. After his apocalyptic reggaeton EP on Vienna’s Ashida Park, the Bratislava-based music producer will release his new EP Kilauea on the Slovakian label MÄSS on April 14th.
In »Tears Behind The Wheel«, delayed R’n’B vocal samples meet dislocated grime tropes, encounter suburban melancholia to create a new sort of utopian coda-pop music.
