Can you tell us about the ideas and inspirations behind this mix?
This time, I tried to do a mix that would show the type of music that I normally play at clubs. These tracks have the right sound and feeling that I usually look for my sets.
As far as you remember, what was your first song or band that you fell in love with when you were a kid or a teenager?
I always have a new crush each week so it’s hard to tell, haha. I liked so many as a kid, and also all types of music. But if I had to say one, it would probably be something cheesy like Savage Garden.
Do you remember your first encounter with electronic music and can you elaborate on that?
People always ask me that and I never know what to say, because it was something that happened gradually and not from one day to the next. I was much into rock for a while and I guess I slowly started listening to genres that were more like a fusion with electronic music and then it just happened. I still feel like I’m discovering new sounds everyday.
Tell us about one of your best, worst, funniest or strangest DJ experiences.
My first DJ gigs were crazy huge parties where people were shirtless and throwing glass bottles to your face if you ever made a mistake while mixing. I seriously had a panic attack once before coming on stage and I almost fainted.
Our last featured artist DJ Hauswein would like to know how what’s your menstrual experience like?
Ugh, I hate it. It’s all emotional for me. Like if I have been cursed and I have to fight myself to get over it.
