Kunstverein Ve.Sch will open its second exhibition at the new location in Wehlistrasse 27b, 1200 Vienna with a show by Ekaterina Shapiro-Obermair and Hannes Zebedin.

#MUSIC 20 Years of Rhiz with Struma + Iodine
Unique and open to new ideas: the rhiz stands for extraordinary music and the liberation from mainstream culture. Struma + Iodine will kick off the birthday celebration with concerts by Die Angel and Missing Organs.

Opening of the exhibition at artist-run space SORT, in which Anna Schachinger, Kiki Archimbaldi, Martyn Reynolds, Oliver Croy and Vin Della Corte have each invited one artist position.

The painting exhibition at Heiligenkreuzerhof will address the question of how the relationship between pictorial space and real space, from image to world, has changed.

As part of the art festival DREISECHSFUENF, the One Mess Gallery has organized a huge one-day group exhibition at artist-run space Dessous.

The first edition Tanzquartier Wien’s mini festival brings together a new generation of artists. From May 10th to 11th there will be three very different local and international positions on the launch pad.

#FEST Opening of the Wiener Festwochen
The Wiener Festwochen will once again be opening this year at the Rathausplatz in Vienna. Ernst Molden forms the musical framework of the evening together with a whole range of musicians: Voodoo Jürgens, Mira Lu Kovacs, Willi Resetarits, Esra Özmen, Gustav, Ursula Strauss, Gerald Votava, and Der Nino aus Wien.

#FEST Phobiarama
From May 11 until 22: Dutch artist Dries Verhoeven presents a socio-political theatre of fear: Phobiarama, a ghost train that takes us on a ride past society’s new fears and the things that haunt us.

#MUSIC Mutter
The Hotel D’Amour of the notorious mother crew wants to set new standards in Viennese dance culture. United and driven by love of music, they set out to bring educated house music to Grelle Forelle’s dance floor.

#MUSIC LoveFi
X-Coast was invited to the club celeste to celebrate his new EP which features thick kicks, old school rave, house and summer trance influences and will be released on Unknown to the Unknown.

In a year-long collaboration with Liam Gillick and composer Joe Duddell, New Order deconstructed, rethought and rebuilt their back catalogue (including the Joy Division days) to place their music in a totally new context at Halle EG im MQ.

#MUSIC Eat Slay Love Voguing Ball
PLENVM Ninja, together with Wiktoria Pelzer and the House of Butter, present this year’s premiere voguing event in Vienna. First, the Gartenbaukino will show the movie “Madonna: Truth or Dare”. This is followed by a voguing contest and will be one hell of a show!
