Can you tell us about the ideas and inspirations behind this mix?

Honestly, it’s been a long time since I recorded a mix, so I somehow wanted to put all of my recent thoughts into one mix, so it probably sounds a bit turbulent.

As far as you remember, what was your first song or band that you fell in love with when you were a kid or a teenager?

I spent my teenage years in a small city in Bosnia, end of the 90s. So my access to music was really limited but I remember ordering pirate copy CD compilations from Belgrade and Zagreb and going from Backstreet Boys directly to Joy Division’s New Dawn Fades.

Do you remember your first encounter with electronic music and can you elaborate on that?

I was 14 and my friend and I somehow ended up on a Techno party for the first time and the headliner was Boy George. It looks like I really liked it.

Tell us about one of your best, worst, funniest or strangest DJ experiences.

Well, the best atmosphere and being satisfied with your set somehow doesn’t work for me so the best one still didn’t happen I guess. There is a looot of weird experiences, but the most stressful one was a really important gig for me on a stage of a huge festival where the players just stopped reacting to my commands but luckily it stayed in loop, so I somehow found something else on the stage to play music from.

Our last featured artist Izabel would like to know whose one of your mentors from your hometown?

I went to a musical and »normal« school at the same time, so I had mentors in terms of classical music education. But everything that came after was autodidactic. A small town girl. But I really liked what Black Water and Her Daughter were doing in Sarajevo.

Get in touch with our next artist Sybil. What would you like to know?

If you had to listen to one song on repeat for next whole month, which one would it be?
