Following the release of its new website, the editorial team of the PW-Magazine presents its mission and shows the people behind it.

We are young, creative professionals who use digital means to bring our coverage of contemporary cultural developments to the virtual world. By giving voice to a wide array of cutting-edge personas in art and culture, we promotes diversity and a broad mix of artistic expression.

Our aim is to produce editorial content with the greatest possible care so that we may do justice to today’s contemporary cultural events.

In keeping with our understanding of a fast-paced and globalized world, our goal is to connect the local with the international – paying special attention to Vienna’s cultural heritage with the aim of supporting the city in its role as a key locale for the contemporary production of culture and elevating its international visibility.

Our approach is self-critical, feminist, and queer. We strive to break apart heteronormative and patriarchal structures while questioning the supremacy of Western cultural production.

As a non-commercial cultural association, our objective is not one of profit. We choose instead to freely contribute to current cultural events and to promote the exchange of cultural ideas.
