A Glimpse of Vienna: Walter Daniel

We know you’ve been waiting for it and here it is: the last episode of A Glimpse of Vienna. This time, we put Walter Daniel in the spotlight.

Farewell, AGOV! As a last glimpse of Vienna’s booming music scene, we would like to introduce you to Walter Daniel. Not only is he one of the city’s most authentic DJs, he is also one of the most talented. Even at the young age of 17, he never seemed to have done anything other than DJing in his life. He is able to read the crowd and keep the energy level high during the performance. In addition, he has a deep knowledge of music, especially of things that were published in Austria and Germany in the 80s.

Recently, he concentrated on his band project TAURUS, which prepares a debut LP for the local label Neubau. During a short tour, the band gained a lot of experience, which will have influence on the recordings for their very first record. If you’re in Vienna on the 21st of July, do not miss the live performance of TAURUS at the legendary Walden Festival!
